Job Summary

Civil Foundation (OHL / SS)

Develop and review foundation design plans including shallow and deep foundation systems in alignment with project specifications and geotechnical reports.
Conduct site inspections and field evaluations to assess foundation conditions and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Collaborate with geotechnical engineers structural engineers and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize foundation solutions.
Prepare technical documentation including calculation reports inspection logs and progress updates for internal and client review.
Monitor construction activities related to foundation work providing real-time guidance and addressing deviations promptly.
Ensure adherence to local regulations environmental standards and OHL / SS quality management protocols.
Support project planning and risk assessment by identifying potential foundation-related issues early in the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil foundation design construction supervision or related engineering roles.
Proven experience with foundation types including piles rafts spread footings and retaining structures.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles soil mechanics and foundation analysis software (e.g. SAFE PLAXIS or similar).
Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and project management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Valid professional engineering license (PE or equivalent) and familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
