Inventory Control Coordinator - Milton
Position: Full-Time Permanent
Schedule: 4 days per week
Shift: 6:30 am-finish
Salary: $21/hour (paid on weekly basis)
Position Summary
As an Inventory Control Coordinator you will be a vital part of our warehouse operations team. You will utilize computerized tracking systems to monitor all aspects of our inventory ensuring that data-driven decisions guide our parts and product ordering. Your primary goal is to ensure the right amount of inventory is accurately distributed at the perfect time to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Oversight: Supervise plan and oversee all inventory control activities to ensure proper receiving and storage of all warehouse items.
Data Management: Track inventory using computerized systems and compile data to inform management on stock flow and restocking requirements.
System Integrity: Review inventory balances conduct regular stock counts and investigate system issues to improve business performance and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Reporting: Provide regular stock updates and offer professional recommendations to management and sales leadership.
Customer Service: Provide accurate real-time inventory information directly to customers.
Team Collaboration: Assist management with warehouse staff retraining and the implementation of disciplinary actions when necessary.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of warehousing or machine operating experience is required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer use specifically with Microsoft Excel and specialized inventory software.
Equipment Mastery: Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack and utilize RF handheld computers.
Physicality: Must be in good physical condition for manual work including standing for extended periods and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly express thoughts to team members and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in wholesale distribution.
Familiarity with food service equipment and smallwares.
