Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to collaborate closely with location coordinators managers regional managers and finance teams to manage and maintain the equipment and supplies needed to run our summer camps efficiently. The Inventory Specialist will ensure that all our camp sites are well-equipped and that inventory levels are managed effectively across all locations while being meticulous and cost-conscious.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with location coordinators managers and regional managers to assess inventory needs and ensure alignment with camp activities and camper registrations.
Update and maintain an accurate inventory management system to track supplies and equipment across multiple camp locations.
Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports on stock levels usage trends and reorder needs.
Coordinate the acquisition and distribution of supplies and equipment ensuring timely deliveries to each camp site.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and ensure compliance with safety regulations..
Assist in budget management by providing insights and recommendations based on inventory data.
Resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficient in using Excel and/or Google Sheet and standard office tools.
Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
Flexible to travel between camp sites when required.
Must have a car
Experience working in a camp or educational environment is preferred
Meticulous attention to detail and a cost-conscious mindset.
