Job Summary:
The Production Planner is responsible for developing coordinating and monitoring production schedules to ensure smooth manufacturing operations on-time delivery and optimal utilization of resources. This role acts as a key link between production procurement warehouse and sales teams to align material availability capacity planning and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain daily weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts customer orders and production capacity.
Coordinate with purchasing warehouse and logistics to ensure raw material and component availability.
Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules proactively to meet changing priorities or unexpected delays.
Communicate production plans and updates to relevant departments (sales quality production team site and delivery team etc)
Liaise with process engineer to optimize production efficiency by minimizing downtime setup time and material shortages.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks variances and opportunities for improvement as per Companys Way.
Support inventory management by balancing production output with demand and stock levels
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy.
Prepare regular reports on production performance forecast accuracy and capacity utilization.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in supply chain management industrial engineering manufacturing or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in production planning scheduling or manufacturing coordination.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP system (preferably SAP).
Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Strong Microsoft excel and data analysis capabilities.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
Experience in lean manufacturing or process optimization
Knowledge of ISO9001 on QMS.
Familiarity with capacity planning and material requirement planning (MRP)
Generate relevant documents & report for process improvement activities
Provide trainings to the team for process improvement activities

Mon - Fri 8.30am - 6pm
