Job Summary
As part of our Tech Operations team we are looking for a Senior Shopify Tech Lead who will own Shopify-based solutions end-to-end drive scalable architecture and lead complex ecommerce implementations aligned with performance marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Shopify architecture development and optimization for high-scale ecommerce projects
Own custom Shopify theme development using Liquid HTML CSS JavaScript
Build and manage custom Shopify apps third-party integrations and API-based solutions
Act as the technical lead for Shopify initiatives design code review deployment and optimization
Collaborate closely with performance marketing affiliate and product teams to enable growth-driven ecommerce features
Ensure site performance security scalability and SEO best practices
Troubleshoot complex Shopify issues including checkout payments apps and integrations
Stay updated with Shopify platform updates tools and ecosystem trends
Mentor junior developers and set coding standards & best practices
Requirements
5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid custom themes and storefront architecture
Proven experience as a Shopify Tech Lead / Senior Shopify Developer
Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs custom app development and integrations
Experience with performance optimization CRO and analytics integration
Familiarity with Git CI/CD workflows and deployment best practices
Experience working with high-traffic ecommerce platforms is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex technical discussions

Required Skills:
Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research. Strong research skills and the ability to write on a variety of topics. Excellent grammar punctuation and proofreading skills. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling. Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective writing styles. A portfolio of writing samples demonstrating your expertise (if available).
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in English Journalism Marketing or a certification in Digital Marketing (preferred). 1-2 years of experience in content writing Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research.
