Role Overview

  • In this role you will report to GENX MRO Sub-Section Manager Services Engineering at JFWTC GEA India addition you will interface with organizations such as the Engineering Departments Services Digital Services Solutions (DSS) MCRB teams based on business need.
  • Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution fleet issues service bulletin implementation fleet configuration.
  • Partner with PSE CPMs and STPL/SPPE team to identify and update Customer Repair Specifications and TOW optimization opportunities for assigned contracts.
  • Define right work scope for the engine meeting work scope planning guide and customer repair spec objectives.
  • Review Customers requirements and recommend engine work scope to maximize/Optimize engine Time on Wing life.
  • Partner with Services Technology team to implement on/near-wing technology for respective customer accounts to improve engine on-wing life.
  • Lead business initiatives for field issues and cost of ownership goals. Participate/lead initiatives related to reducing cost per shop visit.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of current industry trends.
  • Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication internally and externally

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Good communication skills as it is customer facing role technical understanding of the engine background in PSE/CTP roles


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an aerospace or mechanical engineering position
  • Previous working experience in CTP/PSE/CMR/FM domains
  • Familiar with GE Aviation long term service agreements customer / product support role functions.
  • Experience in engine troubleshooting and root cause investigations.

  • Previous experience in Aviation engines / systems / aircraft / repair or turbo machinery
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple project responsibilities
  • Previous experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with aircraft flight operations
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with customers
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skill
