Job Summary

Job Purpose

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts and onboarding new clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and be able to maintain client relationships while driving account growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing merchants and enterprise clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations
Onboard new clients and coordinate integration with technical teams
Monitor account performance transaction volumes and revenue growth (KEY)
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (KEY)
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
Work closely with operations compliance and tech teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in the payments industry (PSP fintech banking or related sector)
Strong understanding of payment methods (cards mobile money bank transfers etc.)
Familiarity with API-based payment integrations
Experience managing merchant or enterprise accounts
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to interpret transaction data and performance metrics
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
