TITLE: Commercial Finance Manager & Business Intelligence.

REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer/ GMD

DEPARTMENT: Finance

BASED AT: Nairobi Kenya

Job Purpose:

To ensure all materially significant products projects and country initiatives are supported by robust timely financial analysis enabling disciplined decisionmaking and sustainable value creation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Business Case & Pricing Analysis

Codevelop business cases with Product Owners and Country Manager
Perform IRR NPV payback and sensitivity analysis
Validate pricing models and unit economics

2. Product & Country Economics

Develop and maintain product and countrylevel P&Ls
Assess scalability margin sustainability and FX exposure

3. Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC)

Monitor CCC by product and country
Identify and flag cashflow risks and improvement opportunities

4. PDLC Financial Governance

Act as financial approver within the PDLC
Provide financial signoff for gotomarket decisions

5. Business Intelligence & Dashboards

Coown executive dashboards with Analytics
Translate data into clear insights for CFO GMD and EXCO

6. Cost & Revenue Tracking

Work with Finance to optimize cost attribution and revenue tracking
Leverage SAGE and financial AI tools for analysis and forecasting

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Finance Economics Business or related field
610 years experience in commercial finance BI or analytics
Strong financial modelling and BI tool capability
Knowledge of SAGE and exposure to financial AI tools is a strong advantage

Soft Skills & Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent formal report writing (EXCO and Board level)
Highly collaborative and able to work crossfunctionally
Constructive challenger with strong business judgment
Structured disciplined and detailoriented
