Job Summary

Our client is a leading retail group in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:

Manage the entire product development process from initial ideas/concepts and prototype approval to mass production handover.
Oversee timelines budgets and resources for jewellery product development projects.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new product lines or improvements to existing products.
Develop new jewellery prototypes based on market trends brand identity/positioning and manufacturing technologies/techniques.
Manage and coordinate with in-house design teams or external design partners.
Train mentor and build capabilities within the team to create a strong cohesive unit.
Organize prototype testing and feasibility assessments to ensure quality and cost objectives are met.
Monitor and manage custom design orders or special/VIP orders.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in jewelry product design and development at a retail jewelry company; including at least 3 years in a management role with proven success in launching collections.
Strong project management and presentation skills; experience with tools like Microsoft Project Canva etc.
Proficient in design software: Adobe Illustrator Rhino or jewelry-specific CAD software.
In-depth knowledge of jewelry materials (gold gemstones) crafting techniques and supply chain.
Experience working with production workshops/jewelry manufacturing factories is an advantage.
Good communication skills in English or Chinese.
Innovative mindset trend-savvy customer-centric in product development.
High pressure tolerance leadership and team guidance abilities.
Detail-oriented collaborative spirit and professional ethics in decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Act as a reliable technical consultant guiding discussions and demonstrations to cultivate new opportunities. Design full-scale cloud architectures utilizing Cloud offerings (including compute AI big data containers etc.). Prepare customized technical proposals and architecture schematics for enterprise clients. Direct proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to prove feasibility and highlight business impact.
