About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client we are hiring an Operations Manager (Senior Level) to support their regional expansion and setup phase. Our client is a leading technology-driven organization with operations across multiple regions currently establishing a regional travel business with components in inbound tour operations travel technology and corporate events.
Joining the team as an Operations Manager you will act as the primary "Fixer" and operational lead reporting directly to the Regional Director to secure high-quality resources and manage complex logistics. You will play a critical role in scaling the business across Asia and ensuring financial and legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Network Management: Directly manage a "proven strong network" of guides and transportation providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Operational Execution: Act as the "Fixer" for complex tours coordinating with 3040 suppliers per booking to meet 2026s peak demand targets.
Financial Oversight: Manage the e-commerce-style operational flow including pre-paid bookings and deposits while maintaining B2B margins.
Regional Support: Support the legal and banking setup for formal operations by the end of May and assist in the transition to a Singapore-based holding structure.
Risk Mitigation: Implement strategies to protect against currency exchange risks and ensure smooth fund transfers between local entities and the holding company.

Technical skills:
Deep Industry Network: A verified and robust network of regional travel suppliers specifically in Vietnam and Thailand.
Tour Logistics Mastery: Proven experience managing large-scale high-complexity tour operations involving dozens of intermediaries.
Financial Literacy: Understanding of B2B/B2C margin structures payment flows and regional tax compliance.
Soft skills:
Proactive Problem Solving: Ability to function as an "operational fixer" under the pressure of peak seasonal demand.
Strategic Agility: Capable of navigating a business setup/expansion phase with evolving legal and organizational structures.
High-Level Communication: Strong reporting skills to keep regional leadership informed of operational risks and successes.
