Job Summary

Were looking for a Warehouse/Purchasing Manager to oversee warehouse operations and purchasing activities within a fast-paced construction environment. This role is responsible for managing inventory vendor relationships and implementing process improvements to optimize cost control and efficiency. The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with strong leadership and a passion for continuous improvement and technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage warehouse operations ensuring inventory accuracy safety compliance and on-time materials delivery.
Oversee purchasing functions including vendor negotiations purchase order management and supplier performance.
Implement and maintain ERP/WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and cost reporting.
Drive process improvements focused on supply chain optimization automation and resource efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and apply FIFO and cost-control strategies to improve workflow and minimize waste.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or related field preferred.
5 years of experience in warehouse management purchasing or construction supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of ERP/WMS systems and data-driven inventory management.
Proven experience in cost control vendor management and materials forecasting.
Familiarity with safety standards lean principles and 5S warehouse organization.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and process improvement initiatives.
Excellent leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
Construction industry experience highly preferred.
