This role is responsible for managing inventory vendor relationships and implementing process improvements to optimize cost control and efficiency. The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with strong leadership and a passion for continuous improvement and technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations ensuring inventory accuracy safety compliance and on-time materials delivery.
- Oversee purchasing functions including vendor negotiations purchase order management and supplier performance.
- Implement and maintain ERP/WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and cost reporting.
- Drive process improvements focused on supply chain optimization automation and resource efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and apply FIFO and cost-control strategies to improve workflow and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse management purchasing or construction supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of ERP/WMS systems and data-driven inventory management.
- Proven experience in cost control vendor management and materials forecasting.
- Familiarity with safety standards lean principles and 5S warehouse organization.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
- Construction industry experience highly preferred.
