Job Summary
Location:Brisbane
Help shapehigh levelsafety risk strategyassuranceand enterprise improvement this is not a frontline Safety Advisor role.
Wereseeking a Safety Risk & Assurance specialist with strongcritical thinking andanalytical capability and experience working at an enterprise level.
This role focuses on risk management assurance activities systemsimprovementand organisational uplift rather thanday-to-daysafety advisory tasks.
Youllpartner with senior stakeholders across the business to strengthen risk awareness evaluate controls and support the continuous improvement of our safety risk managementand assurancesystems.
WhatYoullBe Doing
- Leadsecond lineassurance activities and support enterprise audit functions.
- Facilitate and influencehigh levelsafety risk assessments and risk reviews.
- Assistin designingtestingandmaintainingsafety risk managementand assuranceframeworks and systems.
- Coach and mentor safety professionals to uplift risk and assurance capability.
- Supportbusiness wideimprovement initiatives addressing critical risk areas.
This Role Will Suit Someone Who
- Has formal trainingandor equivalentexperience in risk management techniques (mandatory).
- Has 35 years in safety management auditing assurance or risk roles (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation and regulatory requirements
- Operates confidently in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Bringsstrong communication influencing and coaching skills.
- Works strategically with less emphasis on frontline safety advisory duties.
