Job Summary

  • WHS Compliance & Safety Culture: Coordinate WHS activities manage incidents conduct risk assessments and champion a proactive safety culture.
  • Audits Reporting & Compliance: Lead WHS audits maintain compliance records analyse safety trends and ensure contractor compliance.
  • Training Onboarding & Engagement: Deliver WHS training support onboarding maintain training compliance and coach leaders to strengthen safety capability.
  • Continuous Improvement & ESG: Drive continuous improvement by leading environmental audits supporting ESG reporting and enhancing safety and operational performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: Advise leaders on WHS requirements liaise with regulators and auditors and influence stakeholders to support safety and compliance outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a WHS-focused role ideally within hospitality multisite operations or service-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation codes of practice and safety management systems.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments audits investigations and corrective action management.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or working toward).
  • Training and facilitation experience (TAE certification desirable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with environmental management and ESG reporting is an advantage.
  • Experience working with WorkSafe NT inspectors or regulatory bodies preferred.
