Job Summary

Job Summary

The Senior Solution Engineer in NetApps Sales function plays a pivotal role in driving successful sales campaigns by applying strong customer engagement and technical expertise. This high-impact role offers significant growth opportunities while covering major accounts within the region. The position requires the ability to build long-term strategies collaborate with channel partners and internal stakeholders (including Client Executives and District Managers) and support aggressive performance goals. The ideal candidate is results-driven customer-focused tech-savvy and adept at fostering strong internal and external relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in presales technical solution design and proposal development.
  • Strong relationship-building negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams across Marketing Sales Sales Operations Customer Support and Product Development.
  • In-depth understanding of data storage data protection disaster recovery and competitive market offerings.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies is highly desirable.
  • Ability to clearly convey and analyze technical information to support customer buying decisions.
  • Strong grasp of how technology solutions address key business challenges.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships with key technical decision-makers and CXO-level stakeholders within major accounts.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Technical Presales.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field is preferred; a graduate degree is mandatory.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical oversight to channel partners and customers to support sales campaigns resolve issues and achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the territorys Client Executive to meet targets by developing both shortterm action plans and longterm strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Evangelize NetApps value proposition within the assigned territory.
  • Drive technical closure for sales opportunities by positioning NetApp as the most suitable solution for customer needs.
