The Senior Solution Engineer in NetApps Sales function plays a pivotal role in driving successful sales campaigns by applying strong customer engagement and technical expertise. Job Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation abilities.
- Proven experience in presales technical solution design and proposal development.
- Strong relationship-building negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams across Marketing Sales Sales Operations Customer Support and Product Development.
- In-depth understanding of data storage data protection disaster recovery and competitive market offerings.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to clearly convey and analyze technical information to support customer buying decisions.
- Strong grasp of how technology solutions address key business challenges.
- Capability to build and maintain relationships with key technical decision-makers and CXO-level stakeholders within major accounts.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Technical Presales.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field is preferred; a graduate degree is mandatory.
Job Responsibility
- Provide technical oversight to channel partners and customers to support sales campaigns resolve issues and achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the territorys Client Executive to meet targets by developing both shortterm action plans and longterm strategies for assigned accounts.
- Evangelize NetApps value proposition within the assigned territory.
- Drive technical closure for sales opportunities by positioning NetApp as the most suitable solution for customer needs.
