About the role
- Responsible for defining prioritizing and overseeing delivery of the strategic Data Management capabilities required by the business functions
- Own oversight of data management initiatives including establishment of workflow and monitoring practices to ensure milestones are met
- Manage relationships with multiple business teams stakeholders & partners for new solution implementation & adoption
- Establish SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain and improve data quality
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
- Work with business counterparts to identify requirements needs data gathering and prioritize
- Gather key project metrics to support internal team management and executive reporting
- Drive deployment and adoption of a consistent and well managed portfolio capability
- Executive Reporting: Build and gather key metrics to support internal and executive reporting to drive consistency and insight to stakeholders
- Communications: Ensure that documentation processes progress announcements and other data management communications are published enacted understood and adjusted based on feedback.
- Drive data remediation activities centrally to drive prioritization and validation of issue management remediation.
- Responsible for business process understanding of data consumption.
- Data Lifecycle management processes and procedures.
Extensive validation skills of the gathered data for veracity consistency and completeness
Work Experience
7-10 Years
Knowledge Skills Abilities & Competencies
- 7 years of industry experience in Data Management practices and methodologies
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Data-As-A-Service framework
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Good knowledge of Business Central
- Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and processes.
- Good office software skills (e.g. Excel Access Visio PPT) knowledge of relational object & dimensional databases and familiarity with statistical packages and analysis techniques
- Should perform end to end RCA on issues and challenges that are reported by business system users and process owners.
- Exposure towards building playbooks SOPs KPIs will be an added advantage
- Should have excellent knowledge on proactive data analysis in conjunction with business needs
- Effectively communicate complex technical artifacts to both technical & non-technical audiences
- Participate in cross-functional meetings workshops and planning sessions to ensure data management activities support the overall objectives across data product and platform initiatives.
