Job Summary
Graduate Assistant Cross Country Track & Field
This part-time position receives a stipend and an optional graduate tuition waiver. Duties include assisting the Head Coach with the coordination and preparation of the universitys Cross Country and Track & Field team.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian Catholic Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the recruitment of future University of Mary scholar athletes
- Assist with coaching
- Assist with daily operations of the program
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience include:
- Bachelors degree required
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules standards practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Upholds andsupports the Christian Catholic Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
- Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
- Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality inthe Office of Intercollegiate Athletics and throughout the university in accord with Saint Benedicts admonition that all be received as Christ
This position includes:
- Part-time schedule
- Graduate Tuition waiver (optional)
- A stipend is provided

The University of Mary is a member of NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and offers ten varsity sports for women and eight for men. U-Mary became an active member of the NCAA in 2007. The Marauders began competing in the NSIC in the fall of 2006.
