a minimum of 10 years experience within a corporate bid environment and a thorough understanding of tender processes and procedures

Duties & Responsibilities

Management of the Bid Support Office resources
Define and look at current practices and processes which are in place (i.e. systems templates company information employee CVs etc. legal documents).
Design develop and maintain a knowledge repository for the purposes of submitting quality tenders and proposals.
Create an opportunity register incorporating a scoring matrix or using bid/no bid questions linked to business strategy
Track opportunity life cycle of tenders and proposals up to submission.
Collaborate with Finance HR Marketing to ensure correct information is fed into knowledge repository.
Provide input into the planning of tenders and proposals.
Responsible for the up-skilling of employees in using the available tools for drafting and preparing submission of tenders and proposals.

Advise Marketing on website updates and changes to assist with winning more opportunities. (Successful tenders/proposals current clients etc.)
Follow-up with clients to obtain feedback when tender/proposal is not successful.
Hold debriefing sessions with teams to provide feedback as to why the company was not successful in their tender/proposal submission

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in technical/business writing or journalistic skills or related fields
The candidate must be registered as an APMP Professional

A minimum of 10 years experience within a corporate bid environment and a thorough understanding of tender processes and procedures either in professional services or the infrastructure industry would be a minimum requirement.
Prior experience in managing multiple projects successfully

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite is required
