In this impactful role you will lead the charge in drivingcross-functionalsolutions fostering innovation andestablishingstandardization to elevate the Systems Engineering discipline. What YOU will do:

  • Collaboratewithinternalcustomers DT subject matter experts andcross-functionalteams to define test and implement new or upgraded applications.

  • Enabledatamigrations between applications/systems and contribute to enterprise-levelgoalstargeting common applications across the organization

  • Lead the implementation integration and optimization ofaModel Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) toolchainincluding a Test Management Solution

  • Provide technicalexpertiseguidanceand mentor employeesin the Systems Engineering DisciplineincludingMBSEanddigitalthreadtechnologies

  • Serve as a leaderandrole modelworking within an Agile Release Train (ART)onthe implementation integration and optimization of digital solutions.

  • Interact with end customersby providing demonstrations or engagingon technical issues requiring subject matterexpertiseand drivingissues to closure.

  • Collaborate with other Digital Technology teams and software vendorstodefine service and application roadmapssupportingOneCollins.

  • Bring a continuous improvementandgrowth mindset to drive iterative improvements to ourdeliveriesandteamexecution.

  • Champion industry standards & best practices of systems engineering

  • Ensure compliance withqualitySecurityGlobal Trade Policies and RTX cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications YOUMust Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

  • Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position(U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)

  • Proven successleveragingsystems engineering principlestosolvecomplex multi-domain problemsand deliver solutions

  • Strong understanding ofthe entire cradle-to-grave lifecycleof a productspecifically with experience inIntegration Test or Verificationphases

  • Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS CameoTeamWorkCloudMatlabPolarion JAMA TestRailTestForward)and standards (e.g. INCOSE ISO 15288).

  • Experience withAgile/SAFeimplementation in an engineering context

  • Strong understanding of digital engineering implementationsacross the lifecycle

  • Experience delivering products/systems within highly regulated industries (e.g. aerospace automative defense).

The salary range for this role is 132400 USD - 251600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including but not limited to medical dental vision life insurance short-term disability long-term disability 401(k) match flexible spending accounts flexible work schedules employee assistance program Employee Scholar Program parental leave paid time off and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
