Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven VIP Manager to lead and grow our high-value customer segment. This senior leadership role is responsible for leading and executing the VIP strategy managing a team of VIP Account Managers and ensuring exceptional service delivery retention and lifetime value of VIP players.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience in VIP Account Management within the iGaming industry strong leadership capability and a data-led approach to customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the iGaming industry with proven experience as a VIP Account Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing a VIP team or function.
  • Strong understanding of online sports betting and casino products.
  • Experience operating within regulated markets (South Africa experience highly advantageous).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on premium service delivery.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Marketing Management or a related field.

Responsibilities


VIP Strategy & Leadership

  • Own and execute the end-to-end VIP strategy for our client aligned with commercial objectives and brand values.
  • Lead mentor and develop the VIP Account Management team setting clear performance targets and KPIs.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for VIP customers and internal stakeholders.

VIP Player Management

  • Oversee the retention and growth of high-value VIP players.
  • Ensure personalised best-in-class service for VIP customers across all touchpoints.
  • Drive responsible gambling practices within the VIP segment ensuring compliance with South African regulations and internal policies.

Commercial Performance

  • Maximise VIP player lifetime value through tailored promotions bonuses and experiences.
  • Monitor and optimize VIP performance metrics including NGR retention rates and player value.

Data Reporting & Compliance

  • Analyse VIP player behaviour and performance data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
  • Ensure all VIP activities adhere to local regulatory requirements internal controls and responsible gaming standards.
