Job Summary

Company Background:

We are representing our client a multinational agro-based market leader with nationwide distribution recognized for its integrated operations and strong presence in organic fertilizer solutions and agricultural supply chains. As they are expanding they are currently looking for a National Sales Manager - Fertilizer Products to be based in Shah Alam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive nationwide sales strategies for both inorganic and organic fertilizer portfolios
  • Overseeing and coaching a team of 45 Sales Managers to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Analyse market trends customer needs and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies effectively in the fertilizer sector
  • Lead and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals and actively prospect for new business opportunities and convert leads into customers
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key customers including farmers distributors agro-dealers and plantation owners
  • Responsible for timely collection of payment from customers to generate positive cash flow for the company and minimize exposure to bad debts
  • Monitor and track sales performance against targets adjusting as necessary to meet sales KPI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing Business Administration or any related field
  • Non degree/Diploma holder with proven track record of success in sales leadership roles will be considered
  • Preferably candidates with minimum 5 years in sales and marketing roles especially in agriculture products industries
  • Proficiency in data analysis budgeting and financial management
