Job Summary This role is responsible for managing core human resources functions while supporting day-to-day operational activities to ensure organizational efficiency. He/She will be instrumental in ensuring smooth HR operations by providing responsive problem-solving guiding employees on HR policies and supporting various HR processes. This role is an individual contributor and will have no direct reports and will report to the Sr Manager HR
Key Responsibilities
Handle recruitment activities including sourcing screening coordinating interviews and onboarding. Tracking and maintaining HR inventory (i.e. online employee forms orientation materials employee welcome bags) Support the on-boarding and assimilation of new administrative support to the HR Manager in implementing HR policies procedures and process improvements. Assist in the delivery of training seminars and other educational events in business issues business skills performance management and regulatory issuesKeeps abreast of relevant local and international employment laws to ensure compliance with Central and state legal requirements and policies and and monitor the Benefits programGenerate monthly HR reports time & attendance reports (i.e swipe cards sick days vacation etc)Coordinate employee engagement programs and internal HR communications. Provide and maintain calendar with the list of events/activities for the process excellence by continuously looking for opportunities to operate more efficiently and and assist with the planning of employee and monitor labor law and supporting additional HR & Operations projects as needed. 25 % of the time provide administrative support to the Country Head which includes providing IEEE India Operations Monthly Highlights (collating highlights - talks given by staff business wins agreements work anniversaries with a quote from staff/pic blurb of fun/lively monthly highlights)
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience In HR Pref

Skills and Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ethics and cultural awarenessAptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policiesAdvanced knowledge of MS Office and HRIS tools can learn new technical systems when necessaryKnowledge of Fusion software a plusAssisting in the development of programs/events that build motivation and retentionKnowledge of state &national laws and regulations related to employmentResourceful mindset and strong attention to to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
