Job Description

Our client is looking for a professional organised and customerfocused Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their team in Montague Gardens. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face at the front desk while providing reliable administrative support across reception sales logistics and general office functions. This role requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to bring professionalism and efficiency to a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective call handling of telephone enquiries ensuring accurate routing and that all customer enquiries are timeously handled
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to customers visitation the counter for assistance by engaging with customers in a courteous and friendly manner actively listening to their needs and offering appropriate assistance
  • Provide efficient support to suppliers and manage courier deliveries effectively at the counter Sales administrative support
  • Update and maintain CRM records when requested
  • Assist sales team on request with setting appointments
  • Basic quote follow-ups
  • Other ad-hoc assistance to sales team
  • Ensure timely communication with customers to collect processed orders and improve customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate logistics arrangements with couriers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of orders to customers
  • Facilitate the timely collection of goods from suppliers to fulfil customer orders and maintain inventory levels
  • Properly package orders and arrange deliveries to customers to ensure safe and secure transportation and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide efficient and reliable support for various administrative tasks to facilitate smooth operations within the Company including stationery and consumables administration event administration and general team support

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 intermediate computer literacy requirements
  • 3 years in administration / reception
  • Organisation and time management
