Job Summary

One of our clients are seeking a Business Development Manager who is not simply tracking opportunities but actively shaping them. Someone who understands federal procurement knows how to position before the RFP drops and can convert relationships into revenue.

This role is about driving market expansion particularly within the Department of Defense and building a predictable diversified pipeline that fuels the Firms next stage of growth.

If youre comfortable operating in front of senior decision-makers influencing prime contractors and positioning months (or years) ahead of procurement you will thrive here.

Your Mission

    • Expand aggressively into DOD markets targeting 5060% of new revenue growth.
    • Strengthen and protect our existing federal client base.
    • Open new doors in state local municipalities and academic sectors.
    • Build strategic teaming relationships that increase win probability.
    • Shift the firm from reactive RFP responses to proactive opportunity shaping.

Qulaifications

    • 512 years of business development experience in architecture planning engineering or related professional services.
    • Strong working knowledge of federal procurement especially DOD.
    • Experience with capture strategy and positioning.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of building teaming relationships.
    • Comfort operating in a small entrepreneurial firm where execution matters.

$60000 - $75000 a year
Above base salary plus commissions and quarterly incentives.
