Position: Manager Technical Support
Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is recruiting for a Manager Technical Support to join our clients team in the Memphis area.
As the Manager Technical Support you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT support team. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems and processes. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the companys technology infrastructure and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT support specialists providing guidance training and support to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and implement IT support policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and maintain the companys IT systems including hardware software and networking equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to support business needs
- Oversee the procurement and installation of new IT equipment and software
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to the companys IT infrastructure
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all IT systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 5 years of experience in IT support with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of IT systems including hardware software and networking
- Experience with cloud computing virtualization and data backup and recovery
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures
- Knowledge of security protocols and industry standards
- Experience with project management and budgeting.
