Job description / skill requirements Responsibilities:
Work with product management development and other roles to understand the product and the information needs of customers and partners
Based on the release backlog for your area of responsibility plan the required user assistance deliverables for each development cycle
Create and update user assistance deliverables for example in-app help user guides whats new information and other documentation according to the relevant SAP standards and guidelines
Help ensure good user experience by providing user-friendly consistent UI texts and terminology in close collaboration with development and other subject matter experts
Deliver the required user assistance content on time and in quality according to the release schedule
Qualifications and Skills - A university degree ideally in technical communication or a related subject such as languages translation or communication studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (first language-proficiency level)
- Ability to structure complex content and explain it in written form in a concise and precise manner
- Proactive approach to information gathering and problem solving
Work Experience - At least 3 years professional experience in user assistance / technical writing preferably in the software- / IT-industry
- Experience of working with a DITA-based content management system
