Job Summary
Role Overview
The Sr Product Analyst will support Compliance Technology Operations in the Global Ethics & Compliance Organization focusing on Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS). Acting as a liaison among technology product and business teams the analyst will address Compliance requirements for AMLincluding Screening Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Transaction Monitoringas well as Real Time Monitoring Data and Reporting for money movement solutions.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong work ethics sound judgment and effective time management. Success requires thriving in a fast-paced team environment developing expertise in Visas Compliance program and translating this into requirements for new features and system enhancements. Collaboration relationship-building and leadership skills are essential for partnering with engineering operations product compliance and other teams across Visa.
Key Competencies and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in payments technology and product/project management with keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver in complex time-sensitive environments. Technical skills including database queries and data analytics are required to support incident management. Responsibilities include calculating KPIs for large platforms handling support requests and incidents managing remediation overseeing multiple projects coordinating cross-functional teams tracking milestones and ensuring timely delivery within scope. Effective program management risk management and clear stakeholder communication are vital for delivering compliance technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
The Sr Product Analyst translates product requirements into technical specifications and works with compliance operations engineering vendors etc. to develop reliable Compliance tools.
Besides product development this role manages multiple projects coordinates teams tracks milestones and ensures timely deliverables within scope. The analyst oversees plans resources and risks keeping stakeholders informed and uses program management best practices for successful compliance initiatives.
Key duties include creating and updating product and project roadmaps aligned with business strategies and anticipating future needs.
Responsibilities also cover end-to-end UAT production validation stakeholder demos and managing compliance systems in staging and production environments.
The position requires experience in Agile modern product and program management enabling fast adaptation and independent decision-making in a dynamic workplace. Hybrid employees spend at least half their time onsite as needed by the business.
The Sr Product Analyst ensures Compliance platforms meet current and future regulatory needs supporting ongoing improvement and innovation.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field followed by at least 6 years of experience in solution and design of AML systems.
Strong understanding of AML functionalities with hands-on experience with any AML system considered a plus.
Demonstrated program management skills including overseeing multiple projects simultaneously managing cross-functional teams developing detailed project plans and tracking progress against milestones to ensure timely and successful delivery of compliance technology initiatives.
Strong data analysis and issue resolution skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of compliance software QA methodologies and processes.
Technical expertise with the ability to confidently collaborate with engineers testers data scientists and other resources.
Effective negotiation and influencing skills including strong written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
Analytical and structured thinker with extensive experience in customer/business interaction management and software solution delivery.
Proactive and initiative-taking individual with the ability to address challenges solve problems and drive progress.
Proven leadership qualities self-motivation accountability and a strong team player.
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across different time zones as part of a geographically distributed team.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
