Position Overview A heavy civil construction contractor is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its field construction office operations. This role works closely with the Project Management team and plays a key part in construction administration across multiple active projects. The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced field office environment alongside project managers engineers subcontractors and suppliers.
This position requires professionalism strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities in a construction setting.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide administrative and documentation support to the Project Management team

Verify process and organize project documentation and forms

Maintain accurate records reports and project files

Enter and track information in project systems and databases

Coordinate and manage construction paperwork and internal documentation
-
Code invoices and assist with financial and administrative tracking
-
Create update and maintain project documents and correspondence

Support special projects and additional assignments as needed

Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth project operations and company objectives are met

Communicate professionally with owners representatives subcontractors vendors and engineers
Qualifications & Skills -
Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and document systems)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
-
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Flexible and adaptable with strong time management skills

Prior exposure to construction or field office environments is a plus
