Job Description:

Job Summary:
  • The HR Assistant partners with our Safety and Compliance team to enhance the organizations HR initiatives by facilitating the efficient background checks and onboarding of new hires.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the FBI background check fingerprinting and badging processes.
  • Serves as a liaison to candidtes going through onbaording.
  • Understands and explains company policies programs benefits and related information.
  • Maintains employee personnel files bulletin boards recruiting tracker exit interview tracker and attendance system.
  • Ensures that weekly monthly and ad-hoc reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Work Environment / Requirements of the Job:
Qualifications
Education:
  • 2 years college or equivalent is preferred
Work Experience:
  • Prior work experience with at least 1-2 years of an administrative role with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Experience working in airline transportation hospitality manufacturing or food service environment highly desirable

Work Environment / Requirements of the Job:
  • Regularly stands bends lifts and moves intermittently during shifts
  • In a normal production kitchen facility there may be physical discomfort due to temperature and noise
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
