Job Summary
Introduction
Our client a fast growing Wholesale Fibre Company based in Fourways JHB requires a Solutions Architect Manager.
Lead and scale the companysSolution Architecture (SA) function to deliver accurate commercially viable and implementation-ready customer solutions. The SA Manager owns the pre-sales technical design process and solution governance ensuring architectural consistency technical feasibility clear handovers and alignment with business strategy across Engineering Sales Commercial/Bid Product Network Architecture and Delivery/Activation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Outcomes:
High-quality feasible solutions with clear assumptions dependencies and costs
Faster bid cycle times and improved First-Time-Right designs
Clean handovers to Network Architecture and Delivery with complete artefacts (SoW BoM diagrams GIS overlays)
Improved win rates and margin protection on qualified opportunities
Consistent governance and data integrity across OSS/BSS and knowledge repositories
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Relevant certifications advantageous: TOGAF/architecture ITIL/service and/or Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect Manager within the Telecoms hyperscale environment.
