About the team
This team partners with many of the largest advertisers and agencies focused on growing revenue through the adoption of advanced ad tech features.

Key job responsibilities
In this role Ad Tech Account Executives are subject matter experts of multiple products within the Amazon Ad Tech Suite. They focus on accelerating tech feature activation and usage - which improve campaign planning activation and measurement - as an enabler to drive media growth and tech revenue fueled by our ad tech flywheel. The Ad Tech Account Executive role involves selling features products or an entire suite of products to optimize the advertising process. Examples include Amazon Marketing Cloud Amazon DSP APIs and AWS components. They remain customer obsessed by collaborating with other internal Advertising and AWS sales teams to develop strategic customer plans to grow programmatic media investment through adoption of Amazons entire ad tech suite. They possess a deep understanding of the ad tech / marketing technology industry and regulations to advise which products and features within Amazons ad tech stack best address each customers main needs and challenges. For example an Ad Tech Account Executive communicates to customers the benefits of investing in Amazon Marketing Cloud including insights of their core customer creating durability in measurement with industry shifts in identity or developing custom models to evaluate the lifetime value of customers. Ad Tech Account Executives play a strategic role in the overall growth of the Amazon Ads business.

- Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building
- Experience building deep client and agency relationships
- Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- 10 years experience selling programmatic advertising or adtech

- MBA or experience building new customer relationships closing sales and generating revenue
- Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results
- Experience in the advertising media or agency landscape and proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business
- Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with Product teams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments restricted stock units (RSUs) and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical dental vision prescription Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans EAP Mental Health Support Medical Advice Line Flexible Spending Accounts Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage) 401(k) matching paid time off and parental leave.
