Job Summary

Chief RF/Antenna Engineer vacancy in Centurion to lead technical excellence in the RF Engineering discipline. Must have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering specialising in Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware and 10 years of proven leadership recognized expertise in structural mechanics and familiarity with defence/aerospace standards.

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering specialising in Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware
10 years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership
Recognised subject matter expert in a particular discipline e.g. electromagnetic simulation structural mechanics embedded systems or firmware
Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD STANAG IEC ISO)

Computer Literacy:

MS Office (Proficient)
MATLAB / Python / FEKO / HFSS / CST / Similar simulation and analysis tools (Beneficial)

Responsibilities:

Act as the design authority for your discipline leading complex system designs and ensuring technical excellence
Guide and review design activities to ensure compliance manufacturability and performance integrity
Mentorship & Team Development
Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Support opportunity evaluation feasibility studies and bid development
Collaborate with other Chief Engineers and executive leadership to align technical strategy with company objectives
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Drive research process improvement and intellectual property generation
