Job Summary

 Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer on this project you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical works. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and supervising the installation of mechanical equipment including piping systems pressure vessels compressors and gas handling systems
  • Ensuring all mechanical installations comply with relevant engineering codes industry standards and project specifications
  • Monitoring contractor performance quality of workmanship and adherence to project schedules
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil electrical and instrumentation engineers as well as external contractors and vendors
  • Conducting inspections reviewing technical documentation and resolving on-site engineering issues
  • Supporting pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities to ensure systems are fully operational and meet design intent
  • Promoting and enforcing strict health safety and environmental (HSE) standards across all site activities

    Qualifications :

     Minimum Requirements

    To be considered for this role candidates should meet the following criteria:

    • A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • 510 years of relevant experience in gas petrochemical energy or similar heavy industrial environments
    • Proven experience in mechanical installation and construction within industrial plant projects
    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including piping design rotating equipment and pressure systems
    • Experience working within EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) project environments
    • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASME API ISO)
    • Demonstrated experience working with hazardous flammable or high-pressure gas systems
