Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer on this project you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical works. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and supervising the installation of mechanical equipment including piping systems pressure vessels compressors and gas handling systems
- Ensuring all mechanical installations comply with relevant engineering codes industry standards and project specifications
- Monitoring contractor performance quality of workmanship and adherence to project schedules
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil electrical and instrumentation engineers as well as external contractors and vendors
- Conducting inspections reviewing technical documentation and resolving on-site engineering issues
- Supporting pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities to ensure systems are fully operational and meet design intent
- Promoting and enforcing strict health safety and environmental (HSE) standards across all site activities
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 510 years of relevant experience in gas petrochemical energy or similar heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in mechanical installation and construction within industrial plant projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including piping design rotating equipment and pressure systems
- Experience working within EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) project environments
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASME API ISO)
- Demonstrated experience working with hazardous flammable or high-pressure gas systems

- Hands-on practical approach with strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a site-based environment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary teams
