We are looking for Electrical Maintainers to Maintain Fixed Plant equipment by performing scheduled and unscheduled electrical inspections and maintenance tasks. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who lives residentially to Paraburdoo or those who are willing to relocate and live residentially.

Electrical Maintainers reporting to Supervisor Electrical and working in a collaborative community within Fixed Plant you will:
Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards policies and procedures
Appointment as High Voltage Operator under the WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26
Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
Ensure compliance to relative legislation including conducting low and high voltage electrical inspections and maintain statutory electrical inspections and records as required by WHS
Assist in the execution of shut down maintenance
Maintain electrical infrastructure for the plant as per the weekly schedule and complete fault finding and repairs of electrical systems and equipment as required
Complete isolations and inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP
What youll bring:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Recent experience HV switching operations transformer repairs and testing
Computer skills and previous experience with SAP or similar Qualifications
Current A Grade Electrical Licence and electrical trade qualification
A Current Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence (Manual) HR (preferrable)
Current HVIA certificate HLTCPR201A Perform CPR
Current Confined Space and Working at Heights certificates
High Risk Work Licences preferred LF WP
