Our client is a respected and safety-focused Australian gold producer seeking two dedicated Mobile Plant Trainers/Assessors to join their team. These roles play a key part in maintaining high training standards supporting critical operations compliance and the development of personnel.
This is a temp to perm opportunity to provide immediate support with the potential to transition into full-time positions for the right candidates. The roles are ideal for experienced fixed plant professionals who are hands-on adaptable and passionate about training and safety.
The Opportunity
These positions are offered on a back-to-back 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster flying Fridays working alongside another experienced trainer. You will join a supportive and experienced team during a critical period leading into the next major mill shutdown in November.
This opportunity provides exposure to a wide variety of fixed plant operations and hands-on training experience ideal for those looking to make a tangible impact while supporting operational continuity.
The Tasks Ahead:
Mentor and coach personnel to maintain a strong safety culture
Ensure compliance with company Training and VOC procedures
Deliver training assessments and VOCs on fixed plant equipment including:
- CAT D10 DZ
- CAT 16/18M Grader
- Hitachi EA3500AC Dump Trucks
- CAT 785 Dump Trucks
- Dig units Lieberman 9400 (use of SME)
- CAT 773/777/785 WC
- CAT 992 Loaders
Conduct VOCs for high-risk work including confined space working at heights forklifts loaders EWPs cranes and gantry cranes
Facilitate general inductions for new starters and contractors
Maintain training records and compliance documentation
Work closely with site supervisors and safety teams to align training with operational needs
About You
You are an experienced and confident fixed plant professional who enjoys developing others and improving safety through effective training. You are adaptable hands-on and capable of managing a varied workload. Whether you are seeking short-term contract work or the potential for a long-term position you are ready to contribute to a high-performing training team immediately.

Key Requirements
- Solid experience in fixed plant operations
- Experience delivering training and VOCs for: Confined space / Working at heights / Forklifts Loaders EWP Cranes Gantry Cranes (or a combination)
- Strong knowledge of permit to work and isolation procedures
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly desirable
- Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster
- Immediate or short-notice availability
