Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer
Position: SSE

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will act as the Offshore Technical SME and primary technical interface for client discussions. The role requires strong ServiceNow platform fundamentals excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
The candidate will contribute to roadmap discussions drive Continuous Service Improvements (CSI) and mentor offshore team members while ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities
1 Technical Leadership & Client Engagement
Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders in a clear concise and solution-oriented manner
Participate in roadmap planning and provide implementation recommendations
Convert user stories and CSI initiatives into scalable technical designs
Identify improvement opportunities across modules and proactively propose enhancements

2 ServiceNow Development & Integrations (Core Focus)
Develop and configure:
oBusiness Rules
oScript Includes
oClient Scripts
oUI Policies
oFlow Designer / Workflows
oCatalog Items & Record Producers
Build and maintain REST & Scripted REST API integrations
Work with external systems using REST/SOAP OAuth MID Server where required
Perform instance upgrades skip-log analysis and platform optimization
Follow secure coding and performance best practices

3 CMDB & Platform Knowledge (Working Level Not Specialist)
Good understanding of:
oCMDB data structures
oRelationships & reconciliation concepts
oCSDM framework (foundational knowledge)
Support CMDB health data quality initiatives and integration alignment
Exposure to Discovery / Service Mapping is a plus (not mandatory)

4 Module Exposure
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
ITSM (Incident Problem Change Request)
ITOM (Discovery exposure preferred)
ITAM (SAM/HAM exposure level)
HRSD / GRC (good to have)

5 Team & Process
Mentor junior developers and guide on best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Work independently in production support & enhancement scenarios
Ensure adherence to governance and ODC guidelines

Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)
6 years of ServiceNow platform experience
Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise
Hands-on experience in REST & Scripted REST APIs
Integration design & troubleshooting capability
Good understanding of CMDB concepts and data models
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have
Exposure to ITOM Discovery / MID Server
Basic understanding of CSDM alignment
ServiceNow Certifications (CSA mandatory; CAD preferred)
Experience working in ODC / Clean Room model
Experience supporting US clients (MST overlap)
