Manager Trade Finance & Commercial Pricing
Location: Remote
Travel: Up to 25 percent

Reports To: Senior Manager of FP&A
Position Overview:
The Manager Trade Finance & Commercial Pricing will lead the development of the team and the integration of trade finance and commercial pricing into a unified enterprise-wide function. With over $35M in annual trade spend expected to grow this role will ensure disciplined ROI analysis accurate trade accrual management consistent pricing methodology and strong cross-functional alignment across Sales Finance and Supply Chain.
This position is accountable for standardizing pricing processes embedding trade best practices managing accruals and building post-event analytics to strengthen decision-making. By leveraging trade strategy expertise the Manager will position the business for scalable and profitable growth balancing promotional effectiveness with sustainable margin expansion.
Importantly this role will complement Business/Product Managers by providing financial guardrails ROI discipline and standardized pricing and trade processes. Business Managers/Product Managers retain ownership of product/category strategy innovation and customer execution while this role ensures profitability compliance accrual accuracy and alignment to corporate financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Finance & Pricing Leadership
- Lead the integration of trade finance and commercial pricing into a single disciplined function.
- Manage $35M in trade spend with a focus on ROI transparency accrual accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Standardize pricing methodologies guardrails and approval workflows across channels.
- Build and maintain pricing models that align with corporate strategy and profit goals.
Analytics & Reporting
- Manage trade accruals to ensure accuracy timeliness and alignment between Finance and Sales.
- Develop and deliver post-event analytics pricing dashboards and ROI scorecards.
- Partner with Finance to ensure trade spend and accrual impacts are accurately reflected in P&L reporting and forecasting.
- Provide leadership with insights into promotional effectiveness pricing trends and profitability drivers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Business Managers/Product Managers to align pricing and trade decisions with category strategies and product-level objectives.
- Provide ROI analytics and financial guidance to ensure customer- and product-level strategies are executed profitably.
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing Demand Planning and Operations to ensure alignment across functions.
- Ensure clear role boundaries by owning process discipline ROI pricing guardrails and trade accruals while partnering with Business/Product Managers who drive strategy positioning and customer execution.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for trade spend optimization accrual accuracy and pricing effectiveness.
- Benchmark industry best practices in Revenue Growth Management and apply them to the organization.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives including new tools reporting and ways of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Economics or related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in trade finance pricing revenue growth management or financial planning within CPG or related industries.
- Proven success managing large trade budgets and accrual processes with measurable ROI improvements.
- Strong knowledge of trade systems (TPM/TPO) ERP (SAP preferred) and advanced analytics tools (Excel Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and present to executive management.
- Strong leadership collaboration and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in cold hot and outdoor conditions that include inclement weather heat and humidity and exposure to dust.
