A leading JSE-listed entity is looking for a contract CFO to steer its strategic finance agenda across Africa and Asia. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role where youll guide multi-jurisdictional finance operations and shape the financial future of two key international markets.

What the role is about:
Youll lead the finance strategy for the groups Mauritius and China entities ensuring financial integrity compliance and operational excellence. This is a contract role offering immediate influence executive exposure and the chance to contribute to group-wide growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead finance tax treasury and compliance functions across Mauritius and China.
- Drive accurate reporting cycles budgeting and annual financial statements.
- Strengthen governance and ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are met.
- Engage proactively with banks auditors and external stakeholders.
- Support procurement trading operations and regional expansion strategy.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team promoting performance and succession planning.
What were looking for:
- CA(SA) or CAI; MBA is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in a cross-border multi-entity finance environment.
- At least 15 years of finance experience with 510 years in executive roles.
- Strong expertise in IFRS treasury tax planning and entity compliance.
- Previous experience in Mauritius IFC or similar financial centre preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder influence and ethical judgement.
