Job Summary

ServiceNow is actively seeking a Senior Strategist for our Inspire Value Australia & NZ team. As a crucial pillar within ServiceNows global industry and solutions organisation the Inspire Value team are senior customer-facing strategic advisors who partner directly with C-suite and Board-level executives to shape which business problems are worth solving where to invest and how to unlock measurable value through digital business and AI transformation.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy financial rigor and enterprise technology this role supports high-impact customer conversations reframing technology discussions into strategic decisions around growth resilience productivity and risk and aligning stakeholders around a shared investment narrative.

Leveraging ServiceNows Now Value methodology the Strategist architects and leads value-led transformation engagements translating complex platform capabilities into clear defensible investment cases that influence executive decision-making and accelerate strategic must-win situations they act as a trusted independent advisor bringing clarity to ambiguity challenging assumptions and guiding customers toward confident outcome-driven decisions.

As a senior partner to Sales leadership account teams and customer executives the Inspire Value Strategist plays a critical role in orchestrating value across our most strategic customer accounts ensuring consistency of message alignment of priorities and sustained executive confidence throughout the transformation journey.

What you get to do in this role:

This role combines strategic leadership with customer impact and team building in three core areas:

1. Strategic growth and executive influence

  • Engage with customer executives to help shape their most critical business challenges and transformation decisions
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to define and execute the regional strategic deals and growth strategy
  • Create compelling board-level investment cases (including TCO ROI and risk analysis) for value-led transformations that routinely close multi-million-dollar strategic deals
  • Support executive vision and value workshops with C-suite and Board-level representing ServiceNow as a strategic thought partner for value-led strategic business transformations
  • Help shape the future of our customers by identifying critical market trends and emerging needs that could lead to partnerships to accelerate our customers growth and impact in their business

2. Be a trusted strategic advisor

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on must-win deals crafting and delivering bespoke value propositions and business cases to C-level decision-makers.
  • Instill a culture of analytical rigor by through high-impact customer propositions and engagements
  • Drive adoption of best practices in strategic value-selling across the region including detailed value analysis benchmarking and executive messaging

3. Organizational alignment and innovation

  • Foster a community of collaboration and knowledge sharing working across internal functions to ensure consistent messaging and direction
  • Create thought leadership including industry points of views best practices white papers and executive workshops establishing NOW as the platform for business transformation
  • Act as a market and industry expert providing data-driven feedback and expertise to Engineering Product and Solutions to drive continuous product and service improvement

Qualifications :

We seek candidates who thrive on complex problem-solving and possess:

  • Experience in strategy consulting value advisory or related roles with a strong foundation in analytical problem-solving and structured thinking
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex cross-functional initiatives and contributing to high-impact customer or executive engagements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and credibly to senior stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of workstreams deliver high-quality outputs and continuously build expertise

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in strategy consulting value advisory corporate strategy or similar roles
  •  Strategic acumen: Analytical and financial experience with the ability to build compelling business and investment cases and quantify complex strategic value
  • Strategic consulting toolkit: Exceptional skills to build relationships and influencing outcomes coupled with the integrity empathy and passion for our mission and customer success
  • Adaptability: Ability to balance complex requirements drive agreement across stakeholders and quickly learn new solutions functional or industry domains
  • Technology fluency: Experience with enterprise cloud solutions (NOW platform experience is a significant advantage)
  •  Industry expertise: Deep industry domain expertise in one or more industries preferable in Financial Services Government Telecommunications Technology Natural Resources and Energy
  •  Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Australia & New Zealand
