Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent at the Chennai Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers handling inquiries and complaints and ensuring a positive and efficient check-in process. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers in a friendly and professional manner - Handle check-in and boarding procedures according to company and airline policies - Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner - Maintain knowledge of flight schedules airport facilities and airline policies - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely departures - Handle cash and credit card transactions for excess baggage upgrades and other services - Assist passengers with special needs including unaccompanied minors elderly and disabled individuals - Monitor flight status and make necessary announcements to passengers - Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations at all times - Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous customer service experience preferably in the airline or hospitality industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation systems - Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus - Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
