The Core instruments Regional Market Development Manager (RMD) role at Thermo Fisher Scientific presents an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class team and make a positive impact on a global scale. As the RMD you will play a vital role in transforming business strategy into effective EMEA marketing initiatives that drive customer value revenue and growth to the Genetic Sciences Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy adapted global campaigns/programs and develop regional activities to build awareness create and accelerate the opportunity funnel
  • Drive impactful marketing activities to consolidate Thermo Fisher Scientific Core instruments leadership with customers the Research Biopharma and Clinical segments.
  • Collaborate closely with global marketing regional marketing and sales teams on marketing program development and implementation
  • Develop and realize the EMEA marketing strategy & plan analysing performance and adjusting campaigns to deliver incremental revenue
  • Optimize the launch of new products to achieve revenue targets partnering with product management and commercial managers
  • Enable direct sales and distributor channels by providing impactful marketing tools and training to achieve financial and campaign goals
  • Regularly report to senior leadership and perform detailed analysis & reporting on business performance customers markets competitors and segments
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Global teams to manage the regional portfolio tasks for the Core instruments portfolio
  • Lead marketing budget to ensure expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Marketing degree or qualification required. A qualification in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in molecular research market development and knowledge of key market players products and customer needs
  • Marketing/sales background with a proven ability to implement marketing/sales plans to drive revenue growth
  • Strong record of working in cross-functional teams and matrix organizations to achieve goals
  • Knowledge of Life Science markets and competitors experience in qPCR/CE commercial or marketing is a plus
  • Ability to interact with customers and commercial teams to gain insights
  • Proficiency in marketing campaign/territory sales plan development and execution
  • Experience in digital marketing campaign development
  • Strong communication presentation and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% in EMEA and occasionally worldwide

This is an onsite role and will be based in one of our Thermo Fisher Life Sciences offices in EMEA.
