What can you expect in an Senior Associate Project Manager AI Safety Services role with TaskUs:

This role is for a project manager who can deliver complex AI and data projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills combined with technical fluency to manage a variety of teams including operations engineers quality and annotators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own endtoend executionfrom scoping and tasktemplate creation through annotation modelpipeline setup QA and deployment handoff.

• Coordinate crossfunctional teams: engineers annotators data scientists GTM leads and client stakeholders.

• Build & automate workflows: create Asana projects; script Python / SQL jobs for metrics and QC checks.

• Track & report KPIs: timelines throughput quality margin and resource utilisationdashboards in Looker PowerBI or Streamlit.

• Drive continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks run retros and implement SOP updates that scale to the next project.

• Maintain artefacts: SOWs RACI charts risk registers and knowledgebase pages that keep the team aligned.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years managing technical projects or operations in AI data or software domains.

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflows (JIRA Asana Linear or similar).

• Proven record of delivering projects with distributed or remotefirst teams.

• Comfort translating between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Projectmanagement excellence: scoping scheduling risk management and stakeholder comms.

• Lightweight scripting: Python or similar for automation data manipulation and report generation.

• SQL & dashboards: query data warehouses and build KPI views.

• Tool savvy: familiarity with annotation platforms (Label Studio Labelbox) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Process mindset: design SOPs/playbooks and iterate quickly based on feedback.

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelors/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
