Job Description Summary
The Senior Director Planning Design and Construction provides executive-level leadership strategic direction and technical oversight for the planning design entitlement construction and delivery of major capital improvement projects at Prince Georges Community College ( PGCC ). This position ensures that all capital projects align with the Colleges master plan support academic and operational priorities and comply with state and local regulations COMAR requirements and funding guidelines. The Senior Director serves as the Colleges primary point of contact for major capital efforts coordinating across internal divisions external design and construction partners and state agencies while providing transparent and timely reporting to senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree (or higher) in architecture engineering construction management real estate development or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in capital project planning design and construction management discipline required. Four years of supervisory experience required Experience with real estate transactions entitlement processes and land use regulations. Experience managing design and/or engineering professionals Professional license (e.g. PE RA CCM or PMP ) desirable.
