We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Attorney with experience in probate trust and estate litigation to join our team in Costa Mesa California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California probate law trust administration and estate disputes with a proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of probate trust and estate litigation matters including will contests trust disputes fiduciary litigation and related issues.

• Conduct legal research draft pleadings motions and other legal documents.

• Represent clients in court appearances mediation and settlement negotiations.

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients keeping them informed of case progress and developments.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant California laws and regulations ensuring compliance and effective case management.

• Participate in firm meetings continuing legal education (CLE) programs and other professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in trust and estate disputes in California.

• Strong knowledge of California probate law trust administration and estate planning.

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills paired with a strategic detail-oriented approach to litigation.

• Ability to meet an annual goal of 1800 quality billable hours.

• Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary $130000 - $230000

• Plus a yearly bonus based on firm/employee performance.
