Job Summary
Our client is seeking a creative and committed Art Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school in Bournemouth on an ASAP basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Art Teacher who enjoys delivering high-quality lessons to engaged pupils within a school known for strong outcomes positive behaviour and supportive leadership.
Art is a well-regarded subject within the school with good uptake and high standards of work across KS3 and KS4.
The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework sketchbooks and portfolio development
Encouraging creativity across a range of media and techniques
Assessing pupil progress and providing clear constructive feedback
Working collaboratively within a successful and supportive Art department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject
Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
