Job Summary

*Youll work full-time 39 hours per week now through the end of the school year mid-June. Opportunities to renew your contract for SY 2026-27 is likely if performance expecations are met

*Youll do some regional travel within the district mileage will be paid and if you like variety and working with a variety of staff members this is potentially a great fit!

*Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred

*Rates are competitive and based on experience. Rates range from $45-50/hour per diem rates also available for travelers. Insurance available day one!

Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree in education or special education a state-issued teaching license and specialized certification or a masters degree in visual impairment.

*Key requirements include training in Braille literacy anatomy of the eye functional vision assessments and specialized instructional strategies for the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC).

*Reliable transportation

Job Duties:

*Assess needs of each student and establish measurable goals and objectives through IEP

*Design and implement IEP in conjunction with other members of the sped team

*Effectively communicate with parents and school personnel

*Attend VI staff and IEP meetings
