This role leads organizes and manages the accomplishment of assigned procurement activities to
provide timely financial/procurement information to appropriate company management. The Lead
Specialist serves as a project lead focusing on project details and follow-up actions that maximize
project outcomes. This position manages implementation of procurement projects ensuring proper and
cost-effective procurement standards and controls are maintained. The position reports to the Senior
Manager Procurement in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the senior manager on procurement projects and coordinate the use of team resources
Laisse with project stakeholders to collect necessary project information; identify business
requirements and develop a plan to achieve results within budget constraints
Actively supports business stakeholders in all aspects of procurement operational support and
ensure that proper written documentation exists for all projects in the assigned function
Lead specific members of the procurement team in Bangalore to meet their targets and ensure that
the team will move the business forward by supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously
Core Competencies & Accomplishments
Strong interpersonal skills advanced analytical decision-making and conceptual skills
Thorough knowledge of procedures systems operations standards and procurement reports
Cross-functional enterprise understanding and the ability to lead cross-functional projects
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple processes
Experience with data mining with the ability to independently find and analyze data and provide
recommendations to management
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and drive results.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with an accounting finance or business
major or equivalent business experience.
5 years of progressive sourcing analytical and management experience with exposure to multiple
aspects of these functions. A strong understanding of Project Management is preferred.
Familiarity with Data Mining and Lean Tools as well as Microsoft Office products. Experience with
Oracle R12 and SAP is also desired.

This role demands leadership characteristics and the willingness to learn new systems and integrations.
This role now works on multiple testing environments ensuring no gaps during production and will be a
strong pillar for contract compliance and repository for the entire Catalyst organization.
