POSITION DESCRIPTION
DIRECT CLIENT Position

Length: 7-19 Months (annual extensions)
Location: Washington DC 20024

Project Coordinator
*Hybrid -- only submit candidates local to the DMV area*
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Scheduling kickoff /recurring meetings scribing of published minutes developing meeting agendas and managing stakeholder communication by following up on status to ensure deliverables and milestones are monitored and deadlines met.
-
Plan monitor and coordinate the schedule of assigned projects and progress of tasks from inception to closure to ensure results are achieved. Update project plans as needed. Coordinate communication and resolution of any issues that arise.

Organizes tracks and communicates information critical to the department to help ensure goals are met and important milestones are monitored and deliverables addressed in a timely manner
-
Assist in data collection and validation efforts from numerous sources based on project scope and progress; summarizes data and prepares recommendations to management based on findings
-
Assist in the development of communication and training plans.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Three (3) years experience as a project coordinator or project manager responsible for
-
supporting the ISG-IT Service Desk Team throughout the project lifecycle.

Optimal understanding of ITIL ITSM. General understanding of software development processes methodologies and Project Management Life Cycle
-
Strong technical skills work ethic independence problem solving ability and overall positive attitude.
Education:
a. Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Mathematics or a Technical Field.
Technical Skills:
a. Experience using Microsoft Office products -- MS Word Excel PowerPoint MS Visio and MS Project Microsoft Teams.
b. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Required/Desired Skills
Candidates must have ALL the Required skills in order to be considered for the position. Desired or Highly Desired skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required
