In partnership with our client we are seeking a Growth and amp; Partnerships Lead to serve as the pivotal driver of our market expansion. You will take full ownership of our growth trajectory moving beyond simple app downloads to ensuring we acquire qualified customers who actively transact. From managing international partnerships like our collaboration with Pharmatic to activating the travel segment at major hubs like the Lagos International Airport you will be the strategic force that scales our footprint across Nigeria and into the wider African continent.

- You know how to lead a diverse team. Youre comfortable managing everyone from content marketers to digital ad specialists making sure their work leads to real business results.
Your Responsibilities
- You will spend 70% of your focus on driving offline partnerships specifically targeting the travel segment and community networks to power our user base.
- You will identify and activate key offline touchpoints ensuring our physical presence (like airport stores) translates into high-trust customer acquisition.
- You will take ownership of international partnership delivery ensuring products like our physical cards reach customers within 24 to 48 hours via our delivery partners.
Growth and amp; Team Management
- You will spend 30% of your time supervising the marketing team including the content marketer social media marketer and the online ads consultant.
- You will oversee the digital ad spend on a daily and weekly basis ensuring we are getting the best possible ROI and attracting transacting users.
- You will report directly to the CEO and COO providing clear guidance on growth metrics and taking full responsibility for the Go-to-Market strategy.
What Success looks like
- Shifting the needle from app downloads to a consistent flow of users who sign up and complete high-value transactions.
- Successfully onboarding a target of at least 20 travel agents/partners within the local community in a short timeframe.
- Proving a track record of high-quality customer acquisition through optimized online ad management within the first 2-3 months.
- Effectively supervising the existing marketing team to ensure brand consistency across LinkedIn social media and paid ads.
To be considered for this role you should have
- Proven experience driving growth in the banking or fintech sector.
- A track record of scaling businesses across multiple African countries not just within Nigeria.
- Strong experience in B2C growth with a working knowledge of B2B partnership dynamics.
- The ability to lead and supervise a cross-functional marketing team (Content Social Media and Digital Ads).
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to show clear verifiable impact within a 3-month period.
