By joining us as an Assistant Manager Record to Report you will play a key role in analyzing accounting data and generating comprehensive financial reports while overseeing cross-functional teams involved in Intercompany Accounting processes. You will act as a crucial link between Operating Units and our Manila team driving innovation and efficiency through the migration and automation of financial processes. You will ensure seamless day-to-day Record-to-Report operations and compliance participate in strategic reviews and audits and champion the development of team members.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Emersons CP&P financial accounting policies GAAP internal controls and statutory reporting requirements and ensure accurate period quarter and annual close activities.
  • Perform journal entry reconciliation and reports review approve accounting transactions and ensure compliance with accounting practices and data integrity.
  • Address and resolve issues and inquiries from Specialists and employees within GFS Centers and work proactively with Business Partners on escalations.
  • Lead RecordtoReport operations by developing objectives tracking mechanisms and operational tools controls processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Support new business implementations by coordinating internal and external resources to ensure continuous uptime and optimization.
  • Participate in audit activities collaborate with the GL Pillar Leader and internal auditors and provide audit responses and resolutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners through timely and accurate communication reports and participation in business calls.
  • Lead and support team development by providing coaching feedback performance reviews engagement activities and adherence to peoplerelated policies.
  • Conduct employee forums skiplevel discussions and team meetings to ensure open communication alignment on business processes and strong morale.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy preferably with Certified Public Accountant license.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience including positions of increasing responsibility in Accounting or Process Operations within shared business services.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Solid technical and analytical skills in Finance General Accounting Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) SOX IAS and IFRS.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • MBA or advanced studies in Business or Finance is a plus.
