Were looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative IT Coordinator to join our growing technology team in Accra this role youll be the backbone of our IT operations ensuring smooth day-to-day technology support and coordination across the organization. Youll work closely with both technical teams and end-users providing efficient solutions and maintaining our IT infrastructure with precision and professionalism.
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware software and network-related issues
- Manage and track IT support requests using ticketing systems ensuring timely resolution and follow-up
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement inventory management and asset tracking
- Assist with user onboarding by setting up accounts configuring systems and providing technical orientation
- Monitor and maintain IT systems ensuring optimal performance and security compliance
- Document IT processes procedures and solutions to support knowledge sharing across the organization
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and manage service agreements
- Perform routine system maintenance updates and backups to ensure data integrity
- Support the implementation of IT policies and security best practices across the organization
- Maintain organized records of IT incidents resolutions and system configurations
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Respond to user inquiries with empathy and clear communication ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in IT support help desk operations or similar technical coordination role
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset for troubleshooting technical issues
- Solid understanding of IT systems hardware software and basic networking concepts
- Proficiency with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for supporting diverse user groups
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying solutions
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection principles
- Comfortable with desk-based work while remaining flexible to support operational needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Preferred: IT certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Associate or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience with Windows and/or Mac operating systems administration
- Preferred: Knowledge of cloud-based services and virtualization technologies
